Once I fill in the contact/enquiry form what happens next?

AFC will contact you to talk through your needs, objectives, priorities and timescales.You then determine whether you wish to pursue the enquiry further and set up a meeting or contact us and we can then provide you with a proposal based on your needs.

Why should I trust you to deliver my training?

We are a long-established company with years of experience in the training arena and have delivered training interventions across hundreds of businesses in the UK in all sectors.Whoever you are and whatever your need we provide a first-class service and a specialist to support your needs.We pride ourselves on our core values in everything we do.

How do I choose the right solution to my development need?

All our courses on the website are suggested outlines and are not off the shelf products.AFC, therefore, develop the solution to fit your needs and deliver a training or coaching intervention that is suitable for the needs of the individual(s) and/or organisation.

Can I request a specific trainer?

Once we have had the initial face to face consultation with you, we will then determine the right trainer with the right skills to meet your needs.All our associates have years of experience and different specialisms.We always try to provide the right trainer that fits with your organisational culture as well as their area of expertise.

Where would the training be held and who is responsible for organising it?

At either the clients’ premises or venue of their choice? The client is responsible for the booking and payment of the venue.

What’s the maximum amount of delegates per session?

Normally 10 due to the interactivity in the sessions, however, larger groups can be accommodated for a specialist presentation like a conference etc.

Are the prices quoted with or without VAT?

Exclusive of VAT – AFC is not VAT registered.

Do you provide delegate training materials and is this part of the overall cost?

AFC develop training materials for the delegates such as workbooks they can use on the day.The cost can either be included in the total agreed cost and invoiced to the client or the client can choose to bear the cost and responsibility of providing a copy of the workbook for each delegate.

How will I know whether the training has been successful and met my needs?

Firstly, you need to determine the key objectives i.e why is there a development need.

Secondly, what behaviours or actions do you want to see within yourself, the team or the organisation in the future as a result of attending the training and/or coaching.

If these two things are identified then it is easier to measure the success of the training intervention.

AFC can also provide follow up coaching sessions with each of the delegates which can be included in the training package agreed and cost accordingly as part of the proposal.  From the follow-up sessions we can also provide a written report showing our findings and proposed future actions.

We also offer a follow-up consultancy service 6-12 weeks after the training delivery to spend with the delegate and/or line manager to identify.

* What they have actioned as a result of the training.

* What improved behaviours are they displaying as a result of attending the training.

* How has this affected the performance of the individual, the team or the organisation.

What if I want to cancel?

This is not untypical as other personal or business priorities get in the way and we try to be as fair as possible however short notice cancellations are likely to attract a fee.Our terms and conditions of cancellation are shown in our proposals before you sign up.

Do you develop training courses for a specific need?

All our courses and coaching sessions are bespoke and tailored for the person or client around specific development needs of the individual, team or organisation.

Are your costs based on a per delegate basis or a fixed cost?

We usually provide a fixed cost per course and inform you of the max number of delegates suggested for this cost i.e. 10 maximum.If the client chooses to send only 6 people on the course the same cost applies as it’s not based on a per delegate per day cost.

What time do the courses start and finish?

Course start times are agreed with the client and can be found on our joining instructions sent 2 weeks prior to the course start date to the training sponsor ( the person who booked it).Our normal start times are 9.00am to 4.00pm or 5.00pm depending on the course.

Do you provide consultancy training services?

Yes, we do -the initial call and follow up meeting are free.If you require an assessment of your training needs, one of our specialists can talk to you over the phone or make an appointment to visit your business to learn more about your requirements.This consultation will be chargeable and an estimation of this cost provided prior to the consultation taking place.
